Sadyba Best Mall is the first shopping center in Poland to implement the NaviWay navigation system, which allows blind and visually impaired people to move freely through the gallery space.
Thanks to our solution, users can find and reach shops, restaurants, restrooms and other key points without having to ask for help.
Even before visiting the gallery, users can get acquainted with the spatial location of the center by viewing it in the app:
- description of the area in the Sadyba Best Mall gallery
- key information about the placement of stores and services
- search for premises
- location of NaviWay markers.
Upon arrival, the app automatically recognizes the user and tells you when you enter the gallery area. Additional support is also provided by sound and light markers located above the building entrances.
From this point on, the user scans their surroundings using the phone’s camera, and the app automatically detects NaviWay markers. The tag header is read, and detailed information about this point is available in the extension. The system does not require accurate aiming-markers can be read from a long distance, and the app constantly updates information about the direction and distance to the target.
From the moment you enter the map item, the user navigates through the gallery using the NaviWay tag. The app helps you find the most important places, informs you about stores and their exact location in the gallery. With real-time guidance and an intuitive interface, navigating the mall becomes easier and more convenient for visually impaired people.
